Melbourne has been enriched and inspired by Denise Hylands and her Twang program on RRR fm for years, 20 in fact, so to celebrate her contribution BT and the Out on the Weekend Festival organisers are putting on one of Denise's trademark Grand Ol'Twang Broadcasts (2 hours of live music and interviews a la the Grand Ole Opry), featuring the Grand Ole Twang Boys and The Cartridge Family! This is where the Cartridge Family was born, after the first couple of Grand Ole Twang broadcasts myself and fellow house band members Sarah Carroll, Rusty Berther and Greg Field were having so much fun we decided we had to take it on the road!
